Tyler joined Masport in the fall of 2023, bringing with him a wealth of manufacturing experience. From expertise in mechanical design to years of work in welding, fabrication, and machining, Tyler’s vast product knowledge helps him ensure customers receive accurate dimensional information – and 3D models – to seamlessly integrate Masport’s pumps into their trucks and systems.
What excites Tyler most about his role at Masport is the dynamic environment of a small company. At Masport, his ideas for improvement and innovative designs can emerge rapidly, and everyone – from entry-level employees to top management – has a voice. “I like helping design and implement new products and improvements to our existing products,” he says. “It’s great to provide a better overall experience for our customers and end users alike.”
Tyler’s friends are like family to him, and he cherishes their company. He enjoys spending weekends with his girlfriend and their dogs, tackling yard work and home projects. During the week, he balances relaxation with sports leagues, including bowling, cornhole, and golf.
Embracing change and progress is important to Tyler, echoing George Bernard Shaw’s wise words: “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”
